Support a local community sporting club

Our club offers annual sponsorship opportunities to  businesses or individuals who wish to support the East Croydon Kilsyth Tennis Club.

You would be supporting a community based sporting club that is known as a welcoming and inclusive club - and joining us on an exciting journey of growth over the next few years.

Annual club advertising or sponsorship opportunities range from $500 - $1,000.   The club will be appreciative of all our sponsors and we will be encouraging our club members to consider these businesses when they are making relevant purchases.  We can list your business on our Supporters / Sponsors board, within the clubhouse and feature you on our club website.

  • Warren Woodcock & Family: "Junior Tennis Scholarship"

Over the past 12 months, each term a junior was selected by the club to receive for that term, a combination of group coaching combined with some intensive private tuition (to the value of $250). Each of these 4 scholarships were awarded to a junior on the basis that they reflected the club's values of fairness and good sportsmanship - as well as demonstrating a positive work ethic.

The Woodcock family who initially sponsored these  scholarships (to a combined annual value of $1,000), have enjoyed a long association with tennis, with Warren (Senior) having achieved a quarter final singles berth in the 1957 Australian Open and Warren (junior) having been the on-tour hitting partner for Ivan Lendl in the 1980's.

The club acknowledges the Woodcock family for supporting  the development of our up-and-coming junior players through the introduction of the junior coaching scholarships. The Mooroolbark Community Bank kindly agreed to continue funding of the junior scholarships for the 2022/23 and 23/24 seasons.
